I’ve compiled for your perusal, some neat blogs that provide great writing tips for newbie writers as well as published veterans. I personally follow these blogs, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Check em’ out!

  • Positive Writer – A wonderful site that helps writers with writing specific problems to even emotional issues that all writers face from time-to-time
  • The Write Life – Focuses on not just fiction-writing, but delves into freelancing, marketing, and blogging. It’s a great resource with a plethora of information to absorb
  • Goins Writer -Mainly covers writer productivity,  and overcoming hurdles that bar writers from reaching their goals
  • The Write Practice – Provides articles on a range of writing topics, and even delves into grammatical conundrums that writers commonly face
  • Be a Freelance Blogger – Covers everything to do with freelance blogging, and earning money from such a pursuit (Hard to tell from the title, right?)
  • The Creative Penn – Focuses on the business end of writing both fiction (Primary) and non-fiction and offers audible articles instead of just written pieces
  • Helping Writers Become Authors – Gears itself towards fiction writing and delves into the nitty-gritty of becoming a published author, offering expertise from an experienced viewpoint and answering questions all wannabe authors desire answers to
  • Copyblogger – Dabbles in writing advice, but mainly sticks to helping writers delve into the blogging world and successfully reap the benefits of doing so
  • Smartblogger – Advises writers on how to create quality content for their blogs, but also elaborates on topics such as traffic and social media
  • Problogger – All about helping writers to blog, and providing them with the starting tools to become blogging professionals
